is it right for my solicitor to report to my lender that I have to pay ground rent on my newbuild purchase of a flat. They say my ground rent will be £200 rising every 25 years by £100 but those people buying on same development with help to buy funding (so literally could be my neighbour next door ) does not have to pay ground rent as hers will be a peppercorn. Is my lender going to like this, surely this is unfair.
