Read through the link, particularly the heading Types of Complaints We See - Common Complaints. You can show the FOS that the Court struck out Lowell's claim, you have the evidence. You don't have to accept the FOS's decision.

How can the default for the account show on your credit file if it is time barred??

"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

A default under s.87 Consumer Credit Act is issued around the time of the account going into arrears - you get a default notice and unless you remedy it within the time frame on the notice (14-40 days usually) it sits on your file for 6 years - it is totally different from a CCJ - which you cannot have as the claim was unsuccessful.
Can you show us a screenshot (suitably redacted) of your credit file. I’m trying to ascertain whether they have redefaulted you somehow.

Right that does not look correct at all. Did you know you can contact the CRAs to request this data be removed? I would try that as well as continuing to pursue Lowell for this misreporting of your data. The ICO could also be an option for a complaint.

hi yes i agree i have contacted equifax who replied with we have been in touch with 'lowell and they say they are correct and will not change anything'. despite me providing proof they were struck out. Yes i think i may have to go down the route of the ico.

There's a template that you can amend and send to Lowell's, it reminds Lowell's that the ICO will be 'on their case' if not sorted out, send your screenshot with it -

I would also push back hard on Equifax - how can 'no data' grey months be causing this much issue - It's either a default, a missed payment or nothing, they cannot have it all ways.

Agree 100%, it defeats the object of having a 'credit file'.
