  • DCBL Final Reminder - No Permit displayed but Number plate was cloned/copied!

My car registration plate was copied and used on a similar vehicle/same colour. The culprit used the car to run up several parking fines including this particular one. I have sent pictures of my actual vehicle showing differences plus evidence that I was in a different place at time of incident. All other fines for parking were cancelled by Police following appeal and production of evidence. The claimant - Next Generation Parking Management Ltd are simply not interested in learning the facts or reviewing evidence I have. Do i ignore the DCBL notice? I have tried to call the number provided by DCBL but am left 50/60 in queue with hours to wait which I am not prepared to do. Any advice would be appreciated!!?

Have you any documentation from the police to confirm the cloned plates? That might help in your appeal.

I have the police crime reference number and also the communications dismissing the parking fines issued by the local parking enforcement. Hopefully this will help

So send copies of those up to NGPM and ask them why they and their agents are continuing to harass you.

Send by first class post with a free certificate of posting from post office to show when they were sent.

DCBL, the limited company, are mere debt collectors and can be ignored.

Thanks for the advice. I have tried this at the outset. They simply do not want to know. It would seem they wish to take their heavy handed approach to the absolute limit before I assume deciding on court?

Just wait for the Letter before Claim and repeat to the solicitor
