My partner has a 37 month PCP agreement due to finish in October 2021. He is looking to replace the vehicle now and requested a settlement figure which seemed very high compared to the final settlement due in two months. On calling the finance company, it appears Black Horse applied a payment holiday last May, June and July and this has pushed his contract to a finish date of January 2022. They advised it was requested via the online portal and communication was sent. He has not received any communication (I open his post) and is adamant he did not request it. Furthermore, it is adding an extra £168 interest onto his settlement. Is there anything we can do regarding this or is just a case of their word against ours that the holiday was 'enjoyed' but not requested?
