hi thanks for your reply yes DCA still sending letters and phoning , the debt was incured after we were granted a overdraft to start business but my business partner never noticed a security flag on our online banking and our account was closed, with the overdraft locked in it, HSBC opened a new business account for us but it was to late as we needed the overdraft to keep trading we ceased trading over 2 years ago and left our rented premises and closed our business Email ,so we never knew that hsbc were chasing us for money, until last week when a letter from Moorcroft arrived at my home address so i really dont know what do apart from go bankrupt or dispute that we could never pay the money back as the bank closed our account, i am now unemployed and receiving universal credit and due to retire in march 2022Originally posted by echat11 View PostHi Johnnyberry
If HSBC caused the 'default' of the account, did you raise a complaint with them?
Is the DCA still collecting on behalf of HSBC?
