  • Grandaughters car

My granddaughter bought a car in the last 6 months by finance, Unfortunately she did not take anyone with car knowledge with her. Yesterday the track rod end came away and the vehicle was left unusable.
Fortunately my RAC recovery has managed to transport it to a local garage. What are her rights to get the vehicle repaired by the sellers?

    Hi Fishing

As it's been bought on finance, if the dealer doesn't fix it the finance company is equally responsible.

Ask the dealer to fix the problem in writing - send the following, send it Recorded Delivery -

Definitely not a private sale, finance involved (but all things are possible).

? Make and model and exactly what happened?
          Any indication of the reason?
