  • Fine on train for having feet on chair

Hi, Im new to this website and was wondering if I could get some advice with this issue.
I was recenently travelling on a Merseyrail train and was issued a £60 fixed penalty charger for having my feet up on the chair.
I disuputed the fine by pointing out that I was unaware that the rule exsisted, but they just replied that it does exsist and that I was in breach of it.
Any advice on what to do next would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you

Everyone should know that putting your feet up on the seat is unacceptable and rude whether it is against the rules or not. The links from Echat11 clearly show it is. Pay the fine and learn the lesson would be my advice.
