  • Can you claim stress an inconvenience in a small claims court?

    Helo I've been messed about by an Architect which has meant Our house was been a building site for months. Does anyone know if stress and inconvenience can be claimed in a small claims court? I think I saw somewhere it cant for some reason.

    No you can't claim, only for a total loss

      You could look at claiming loss of enjoyment but don't expect to be compensated in the tens of thousands. Only modest awards of compensation have been given, depending on the circumstances of the dispute.
