  • Enterprise car hire damage.....

Hi, granddaughter hired a van from Enterprise, on returning it, there is a scratch and small dent on the rear passenger's side. G daughter didn't sign the liability form
but Enterprise have taken £1050 from her bank account without permission until she receives the invoice for the repair and they will return the difference.
I rang the branch and asked for photos of the damage (granddaughter didn't do this) and also 3 estimates before worked is carried out. The response wasn't
very forthcoming and said the van was out on hire........Can anyone suggest what I do next ??? Thanks.

    Hi DUFF1

Contact Enterprise via email or online chat (if they do online chat, get a transcript of the chat), get it in writing,

Then contact your bank in writing, explain the circumstances as you have above, explain that this payment was taken without your authorization, tell them you want it refunded, send them the transcript / email with covering letter.

Write a Formal Letter of Complaint, mark the letter as such, explain what's happened, that your grand daughter isn't happy and why.

    Email it to:

    Mr Khaled Shahbo

    Managing Director

    Khaled.Shahbo@erac.com

    Do everything in writing.
