RLP and Scott & Mears

Hi, about 2.5 years ago I was caught shoplifting in a T K Maxx, there was no involvement from police. I was then told RLP would be in contact about a fine, I didn’t know any different so I started to pay the fine in £10 instalments until about 4 months later the payment must have failed which stopped the installements being paid. I didn’t realise this at all until May last year I started receiving texts from RLP saying they couldn’t recover the money and it was my last chance. I wrote in here and was advised to ignore it and block the number, I’m now recieving texts from a company called Scott & Mears asking me to contact them regarding my RLP account.

Can someone please give me some advice as I’m extremely nervous now. Do I continue to ignore it? Will they take me to court? Will it effect my credit score?

I have tried but it’s not showing a number to block, they’ve just text me again this morning. I hope they go away soon, making my anxiety levels go up everyday!
