Allay harassment

Just another complaint about allay claims. I received a cheque from Santander as compensation for PPI done by allay. The settlement fee was £3144.38. The cheque was for £2389.73. Allay are invoicing me for £754.73. The maths add up. They have passed recovery onto a claims company. Adding everything up I firmly believe that allay have already received their considerable slice of pie which was obviously deducted from the final cheque I received. Has anyone else had this happen to them?
I most certainly do not intend to pay them again and in any case the services they gave were to say the least shabby. They are now harassing me for payment as I have had demands from both allay and the claims company. Any advice would be appreciated

I'm assuming you mean settlement 'amount' and not 'fee'. Santander wouldn't have deducted Allay's fee from any amount they awarded you. They may have deducted tax on the interest element of the award or any money outstanding to them, like an overdue balance on an account. You need to check with Santander.
