Can anyone please help! I had an unsecured loan agreement with Northern Rock in 2006. A county court judgement was issued in 2009. The debt was secured by way of a final charging order placed against my property. Mortimer has wrote to me recently stating that this debt is not a statute barred debt as a litigation action was carried out on the account back in 2009 and therefore it is no longer subject to the limitations act and cannot become statute barred. Is this true? What should I do?
