  • employment pensions issue

Can a company director communicate to me as an x employee regarding any employment related issues by using a solicitor . As correspondence received from the solicitor gives no reference to the company but the client a named individual . The company is a private limited company . I this the correct way for a company to act.

I worked for a small company for 6 years as a mechanic end of employment was bizarre madness and trying to resolve issues worse. The company failed to provide any information regarding pensions or pensions provider throughout employment . One month after employment ended whilst attempting to recover tools and personal property withheld by the director, finally I obtain the pensions information . Part of an email from pensions dated three years nine months previous welcoming me to the auto enrolment process, definitely late. At last an end to this , wrong pensions had no record of me. Finally sorted this the employer failed to provide correct N.I. number or personal details. Job done statement sent out to me by post an end at last , wrong again. This pension has more errors than entries, the company declared lower earnings, a money saving method. Then turned it into a money making process by taking extra moneys from wages and the company not qualifying for pensions and failed to pay. After presenting this to the company do they make attempts to sort this out ? No this is just another game for the company. After months of more madness some money was paid only after the director notified me he had sold property of mine. All communications with the company director has stopped now .I received a letter directly from the company the first ever , stating they would not give me wage slips or p60s but would deliver them to an agent personally . Then I received a second official letter from the company giving reference to named solicitor . Both company letters although titled pensions update clearly a method to include more bizarreness. Neither letters signed but ended with the company name. Sent a reply for contact information no answer to date .On the same day I received the last letter from the company I also received a letter from the solicitor . This basically stated what a generous person his client was by paying extra into the pensions and any matters regarding the pensions dispute to be directly with them . As the letter from the solicitor states there client as a named individual. None of the contents make any reference to the company whatsoever . The client is the director of the company I was employed by, but is only shown by name again no reference to the company or position held within the company . The content of the letter refers to employment related issues. As this company is a private limited company so the employer is the company. So my question is should the solicitors letter have some information regarding the company.
