  • Fire at work

I travel to work by ebike and leave my bike with permission in the warehouse, unfortunately my workplace was destroyed by a fire and my ebike was destroyed as well, are my employers liable under their insurance or do I have to make a claim in Court ? thanks for your help.

You make a claim on your own insurance. You did have insurance didn't you?

You could ask your employer nicely if they would be willing to add you bike to their claim. Don't be surprised if they say no but they might say yes.

On what basis would you take them to court?
