Van Theft

HI I started a company with a freind hoping to be a silent partneri put all the money in from my own money. I purchased a Van with my own money too but registered the van in the business name. Me and the other director have since fallen out and hes messed up the company by doing shoddy work. He has since sold the van and kept the money. My question is can i report this a theft and where do i stand legally.

Have you got proof that you purchased the van, such as receipts etc.? The registered keeper name means nothing, it does not show owneership.

Hi Thanks for replying i have a receipt but its made out to the company but the money was paid from my persoal account.
