  • Parking fine - overstay.

Could anyone assist me with this. I’ve sent this to McDonald’s customer services today after receiving a parking charge.

Last Saturday the 8th May the driver of a vehicle KW6—- visited your restaurant in Leighton Buzzard, LU7 9 HH. It was raining hard and due to covid restrictions they could not enter the restaurant to eat their food. Signs for a 90 minute time limit we’re not seen by the driver as he did not get out of the car. I’m told that there are no signs within the restaurant stating the fact that the parking is limited to 90 minutes. Neither did any of the staff tell the driver or the passenger of the limits. The driver overstayed the 90 minutes by 53 minutes. The driver had ordered food several times, burgers, coffees etc throughout this time period. At no time did other vehicles not get parking spaces.
Today the driver received a parking fine of £100.
The driver would like you to reconsider the fine issued by Met Parking Services, notice no AB3———
    Thank you.
