Hi, I recently got sent to work in a different supermarket store to help cover absence. I worked there for a total of 2 days. I was sent 2 parking letters from the store I visited (1 for each day). I personally spoke to the store and emailed a copy of both parking tickets. I received a response stating that they have been removed from the system. I then received another letter for one of the tickets (turns out the store only deleted one not both). I the spoke to the store manager, and sent the ticket to him. Annoyingly I spelt his name incorrectly so he never received the ticket details.

I have now received a DRP notice, which states I now need to pay £155. I spoke to the store again and the ticket has now been removed from their system. DRP are stating that I still have to pay £155 because it’s now gone to far to appeal. I’m really scared that they are going to take me to court. What should I do? How do I respond? Paying £155 to park where I should have parked is I personally feel is unfair. Please help me. I don’t know what to do. I really don’t think I should pay.

The principal has ordered cancellation, they should do so. Make sure that you have confirmation that a request to cancel was made and see where they go.
