I hope I’m in the right forum ! I really need some help though. My husband and son are in partnership with someone re a building site. The site is owned by by all 3 parties, 50% between my husband and son 50% by the other partner. We are in dispute as the other partner now wants control over the whole building site we have said yes as long as we get a reasonable financial settlement as the site is worth quite a lot. He doesn’t want to pay us anything...
We have just found out ( last Friday) that he has changed the title deeds at Land Registry formed a new company that now owns the WHOLE site surely this is thereby cutting us out fraudulent? He actually employed a solicitor to do this ! I would so much appreciate an answer Liz

Were you on the original records at the land registry? If you were then contact the land registry and complain that the change was made without your permission,.

I've just made a change to some deeds and I was was contacted by the Land Registry to check that this was not a fraudulent change.
