Incorrect default on credit file

Hi basically iv noticed on my clear score credit file I have a default on it with talk talk. The problem is iv never had an account with talk talk nor have I ever lived at the address it is registered to. I have spent months now fighting with talk talk to try and get the default removed. It has been on my credit file for almost 2 years now and basically causing me to have a low credit score. I have asked them to remove it ASAP and that I will be seeking compensation for the amount of time and stress it has caused me and also for the impact on my credit score. I am getting closer to it being resolved and they have asked me if I had a figure in mind. I'm just wondering if any has been in same situation and how much I should be offered or asking for. Thanks
