  • 52M - crossing the line

Hi - In my case the 52m notice relates to a single sign and there is no restricted area. Cars can park or approach from either side, but if they cross the line it seems to be an offence. I thought 52m was to protect an area? No part of this particular road (Amesbury Avenue Croydon) is restricted. It seems they have created a fine line, and it is an offense to cross it. Is this proper use of the legislation, is it legal?

Google earth isn't showing any restriction signs, but may be out of date.

Suggest you post on Pepipoo as they are the best for your query
