  • Help ! received a claim form from County Court

    Hello,

Really need some advice as my anxiety is going through the roof. I have received a Claim form from the County Court. Claimant being Lowell Portfolio Ltd. The Claim is for the sum of £4252.96 this includes interest and fees. It states the debt was legally assigned to Lowell on 24.05.2018 and that i failed to maintain contractual payment required under the terms of the account agreement. I have never had any such agreement or contact with Lowell. The debt is for Eon at a previous property that I moved out of in October 2016. I have responded online and acknowledged service and ticked that I intend to defend the claim( using guidance from you ). I am now panicking as I have seen that utilities my not be covered by the Consumer credit act ? Really don't know which way to turn now. Do I send a CCA request ? If so who too. Many thanks in advance.
