  • can I sue the police in the county court

I wish to sue the police for damages of 9000 . I have already made a formal complaint.
Can I sue the police in the county court, as I would an individual or company?

Yes, and whilst I note you wish to represent yourself, I would recommend at least an initial fixed fee consultation with a solicitor to have an independent assessment of your case
