I wondered about that but was waiting for somebody more knowledgeable.
I agree about solicitors costs. Probably wouldn't give free initial consultation offer on this amount.
I know one person who subsequently incurred thousands in costs following free consultation.

Would this not be a small claims court action? Easy to do yourself, all online and not a huge cost (which you get back if you win)

I just wonder sometime if the amount is small, if it is worth the hassle.

Small claims may be the way to go as cost to do it is 10%. I may well try that route. Thank you.
