I have a judgement for claimant letter from Lowell saying that I need to pay £100 a month for a gas debt I had over 6 years ago need some advice

I’ve checked my Experian and I have no outstanding debt the o boy thing I can think of was a gas bill from about 6 us ago at a different address

Am I wrong to assume you ignored the summons and didn't defend it and didn't attend the court hearing?

Yes because I didn’t think it was real but sent Lowell’s a letter explaining i didn’t know what the debt was for

If it's over 6 years old then it will have dropped off the credit agencies. Which begs the question of was it statute barred?
