  • Help needed Rented property and non repair and not meeting legislation

Hi I'm looking to find a specialist that deals with issues surrounding land lords, in a nutshell we have rented a property and been here for two and a half years, the landlord took management away from the managing agent within two months of the tenancy starting, we now have been left in a house with flooded cellars, damp and crumbling walls a leaking swimming pool since we moved in (1 foot a day) he has done no gas safety checks or promised repairs pre the tenancy starting and since the tenancy has been running we pay £4,000 a month its an AST and we are looking to start a claim against the landlord and looking to instruct the very best specialist we can find to work with us, any recommendations please?

    Which region are you ?
There is a section on the site to find solicitors. Or look at RICS site.

Try looking on the Landlordzone forum. In spite of the name they also support tenants.
