Charged for using Dartford Crossing before 6am

I have a pay as you go dartford crossing account. I used the crossing yesterday and went through the cameras at 05.59.20 and was in the tunnel when my alarm went off at 6am. I know the time on my phone is correct if not a fraction fast as I have checked it. However I have been charged for making the crossing. On enquiring I was told I went through at 06.00.29. Has anyone else had the same problem?

Depends where the time is logged, you would have been in the tunnel at 06:00 so seems correct.

Depends how long you want to argue this. They will tell you their clock is correct and that is what they go by. The longer you leave it the more expensive it will be.
