Hi , New to this but have followed all the helpful advice regarding a county court letter from lowell solicitors. i have recieved some strange paperwork back from them in their response to my prove it letters, they have made a ridiculolus offer off settlement that i cannot even think of affording, so it looks like it will go to court and i am wondering what the next stage of defense could be. Many thanks to all.

basically they sent me their "proof" of original agreements and default notice, via email, but the default notice apparently from the original company were dated 2021 and not letter headed with some random reference number at the top but adressed to my previous adress from 2016?( the debt stems from 2016) that seems like something lowell have drawn up themselves as opposed to the actual dates of default . but worryingly in the 8 downloads of proof they have sent me there was somebody elses details and accounts sent to me instead. not only do i worry my details have been sent to them in error as well but is something they could be possibly (for want of a better word (punished for) ? any help would be really appreciated lowell have given me until 18th feb to respond. also do i conntact their solicitor to make a counter settlment offer. (they really arnt very clear in their communication. Many Many thanks for any replies.
