I am selling my property and there is a restriction on it due to an outstanding debt since 2008.

the company called Hfo services ltd registered the debit at Croydon court.

they were represented by Turnbull Rutherford solicitors based Wimbledon London.

both of these have ceased and I can't get in touch with them to resolve the debt.

how do I remove the charge from the property so I am able to sell it

how do I deal with and resolve this debit of £2750
    advice and help
    thank you

The solicitors: Turnbull Rutherford London UK Solicitors - Law and Legal

HFO services ltd: just about in existence but accounts overdue by 3 years and no directors!
At one time Alasdair Turnbull was a director as was the company Turnbull Rutherford
Also in February 2014 the Office of Fair Trading advised they would not be renewing the Consumer Credit Licence of any of the debt companies owned by, or associate with, solicitors Turnbull Rutherford. In addition, they expelled Alasdair Turnbull from the group licence of the Law Society,

The debt will normally be paid by your conveyancer when you complete the sale, and the charge removed then.

If your conveyancer is unable to have the restriction lifted, has he explored the possibility of an indemnity insurance?

If you can't trace the creditor it will be impossible to pay it off.

So you will ned indemnity insurance.
The debt still exists, you just don't know who now owns it
