Hello - I am new and need help with Smart Parking fine

I hope someone can advise me.
I received a PCN from Smart Parking. I did not even leave the car. I did not receive an actual ticket, just ANPR photos

Question is; Do I have to pay this?

Edit your post so that the identity of the driver cannot be inferred. The driver parked, the keeper received the letter.

Yes you are expected to pay but if you post up the redacted PCN, but leave dates, then we may be able to suggest an appeal.

My boyfriend was driving and I was in the car, he parked next to other cars whilst I went to collect something.
I am the registered keeper.
Do I have to lawfully pay this?

Many allow some limited free time to allow looking for parking space and none being available. However, your car was parked whilst you collected something. Inconsistency in saying in OP that you didn't even leave the car and latest you went to collect something.
Sorry but I think you need to pay.
I expect majority of us have picked up unfortunate tickets.

So post up a readable copy of the PCN please. It looks as though it doesn't comply with POFA but need to read it.
