    Of course we can discuss a municipal code, criminal law, torts and so forth. We can also discuss major political happenings such as impeachment. What about simple personal matters. Of course.

    Let's start with the fact that our government is based on federalism. This term means that the States each have lot's of power against each other when it comes to law suits (Jurisdiction). BUT, the federal government also has jurisdiction with respect to Law suits. Sooo, to sue in Federal court, you must have "standing". What the hell is standing? These are some issues that bogles the mind at times. Suppose you own a business that is domiciled in Kansas, can you be sued in Oklahoma? What is the "Long Arm of the Law"? It has to do with jurisdiction. Anyway, just want to have some fun on my forum and maybe help some folks.
