    IHT reduction

    I'm interested in finding out if we can obtain any rebate for the IHT my dad had to pay for his sister's estate, possibly via a deed of variation (she died in summer 2019 so we'll have to process it quickly!)

    I should also add that had assets in excess of 500k and never married and had no children so the residence nil-rate band doesn't apply.
