Help with racism claim

A friend of mine who runs a football league has been charged by the FA with Discrimination on grounds of Ethnic Origin/Race.
Does anyone here have any expertise or input that can help this person who is not only totally shocked at the accusation but is at risk of being overwhelmed by the whole process?

Remember they have to prove their allegations. He may have inadvertently made a mistake. If he has be honest and open.
The FA is responsible for the game and I'm confident will seek the truth.
