Lowell portfolio EE finance claim

I have received a count court claim for two debts assigned from EE Finance. I dimly recall a dispute about cancelling an agreement because they had overcharged. I looked at the forum and your contributors suggest first acknowledging the claim and intention to defend. I have gone to MCOL, registered but they ask for details of my defence. My defence at the moment is I don't know anything about their claim and want the agreement documents evidence etc from the claimant. Not sure how to proceed?
