i live in a block of flats and am the owner of my flat and a freeholder as are all the other owners of the flats in the block . The freehold also includes land surrounding the flats and part of this land is used for a car park. Over the last year a resident of another block of flats near by has been parking and leaving ever changing untaxed vehicles and a SORN vehicle within the car park area on our land . He has also done the same in the next door block, switching them every so often and bringing more new ones into both blocks , . We have approached the DVLA requesting the person's name and address for the latest untaxed vehicles along with the SORN vehicle but response is not yet forthcoming after 6 weeks and we are not sure what be done once we do have the information . We suspect that given the ever changing vehicles, all registerted as MOT'd but untaxed, ,that he is a car dealer .
The police are not interested and frankly even if they were , they are busy with more pressing issues at present. We have got nowhere with our local council either .As we are freeholders he is technically trespassing on our land. Please can you advise what are our courses of action to get this resolved might be , given that this could go on indefinitely and the cars are taking up 3-4 spaces permanently in our car park and more in our neighbouring block. ?

So a sign up stating that parking on the site is £100 per day unless a permit is displayed. I'm sure someone in the block can produce some permits preferably with serial numbers to make duplication difficult. If he's there then a windscreen ticket in the format required by POFA and the when you get the keeper details then a Notice to Keeper etc.
