    It's about 5 years ago I was caught in primark for shoplifting with my friends the security took me inside and then called the police ecc they sent me a fine letter but I was 17 years and I did t want to my mom and dad knows about this so I threw the letter away and didn't pay the fine that was about nearly 400£ and I did a very big mistake to not to pay but now I don't know what to do how to pay back because I don't want to keep any bad record and it'll cause me problem by getting british passport

    The fine has nothing to do with the police, only a private company pretending they have lost money when they haven't. It was not a fine, only courts can issue a fine and you haven't been there.

    I doubt that you are on record anywhere and paying the scam charge would not change anything
