  • Car parking fine

I went to local village to shop & have lunch I have a disabled badge as I have arthritis & other problems . I parked at the back of the coop car park & was away for 2 hours not realising parking was only 1.5 hours max ! I received a parking fine off Euro car parks ! I appealed & said I thought disabled badges allowed up to 3 hours & thought £60 for 15 mins over was a lot ...I have had a letter back to say my appeal has been rejected .... I dont know what to fo they now want £100

Your blue badge, unfortunately, gives you no rights on private land. Your handbook tells you so.

As you have identified the driver there is not a lot you can do about it, you did what the the Euro are trying to protect their client from: non customers using spaces and stopping real customers.

You could make them an offer of the amount before your appeal
