I am new to this forum and came across via google search whilst I was frantically searching for a case where CCJ is received following car accident which was on road with a valid insurance. My insurance company was dealing with the claim but the claimant has issued proceedings against me and because my insurance company or their solicitors (blame game) did not act in time as Judgement in Default has been issued against me for over 8K. The CCJ date is Nov 2020, I discovered the letter in post box in Dec 2020 (on day 7). I need your expert advise on how best to handle this and where is best place to post this within this forum? I must tell that I have already sent CCJ to my insurer and ball is in motion. Also any previous threads you can point me to so I can read upon as much I can. Thanks
