  • A messy one! Very old debt

Hello all, I'd be very grateful if anyone can help me to unpick this one and offer some advice. I have received a N1sdt from Hoist financial for a debt which is so old it has long since dropped off my credit file.
I believe the original default will have been around 2007, the debt was covered under a DMP which stopped in 2015 as a result of the company folding, so no payments have been made since 2015 (just short of statute barred).
The debt hs been passed to Moorcroft, AIC, Westcott and 2F before landing with Hoist.
I actually think that there may be a possibility that a ccj has been issued years ago already, but long since dropped off credit file with no way of checking, and no old paper work remaining anywhere.
I have acknowledged the claim, but where to start? Is there any way of finding out about a very old ccj when the details have long since disappeared?

I'd be incredibly grateful for any advice, thank you.

Giving this a bump. I've today sent a cpr 31.15 and a cca, hoping this is the right way to start. Any help would be hugely appreciated, thank you
