Would appreciate advice on this situation.
I had a tomlin order set up with TM Legal 5 months ago.
I failed the repayments due to being off work sick and not being able to afford it due to being in debt with priority bills.
I received multiple threatening emails that they would apply for CCJ. I didn't have the strength to deal with it as I was on the verge of being homeless. Also universal credit git my payments wrong which took months to back Date!!
Anyway I emailed TM Legal multiple times to ask my account be put on hold or that we come up with a different plan.
I have received no response at all from them so I called the today and went through all of my expenditure, explained my situation and that I am happy to start the payments again (which we both agreed were affordable) this took hours of my day.
The lady had to go and speak to the legal team, who then decided that NO they would not accept my offer and would go ahead with the CCJ.
They said if the CCJ is not paid then bailiffs will be enforced!
I am offering them the money over the phone and they are still threatening with bailifs.
How can they do this after ignoring my emails!
