  • Electric cupboard access

I am living in a shared house I currently rent the front room and the lounge area as it says on my contract now the electric cupboard is in my area under the stairs now the other tenants have been coming in my room to look at electric saying there is problems with the electric they haven't been asking just walking in now I have of course kicked off but they are claiming they can legally come in if they need to sort the electric out is this true can they enter my property when ever they want or as I thought was the case do they have to go through the landlord who if needs to can come in himself if I am not there or asleep in my bedroom as I work nights.
