  • Contest jurisdiction?

I recieved a court claim and a response pack. I want to complete an acknowledgement of service to give myself some extra time to complete my defence. I know I need to tick the first box that I dispute the full claim but not sure if I need to tick the ‘I intend to contest jurisdiction?’ Not sure what this means and don’t want to make a mistake.
I am also currently going through cancer treatment (surgery and chemotherapy) I have informed the company of this 3 months ago but they have decided to continue with the claim right now. Should I include that in my defence? Would I be entitled to more than the 28 days?

You contest jurisdiction if you are in a different country. If claimant and you are both in England or wales then you do not contest.

It's an automatic system for the first month but There may be a way to extend, someone else will probably know
