Hi folks I am in situation where I am in probation for job I thought I wanted. Have acted in role and started formally once they made it official. Basically from outset of first three months of probation period it was evident that I do not wish to pursue new role and have decided to pull the plug as probation is two ways. My concern with lack of support and game playing between one person who reports to me and the other our boss. Have contacted company hr and have had 'confidential discussion. Even though I am anxious I believe the steps I am taking is best for me. I am still under previous company contract even in this role but have been permanent for over five years in previous role. If they don't agree to reverting back to previous role I will have to resign. Anyone available to talk me through specifics I appreciate there are so many things which I can't go into here.
