  • can school make me delete social media

I live in the U.K. and my high school (I am 15 years old) wants me to delete my social media accounts. There have been no incidents, but it is an ultra-religious Jewish school which don't approve of social media. Are they allowed to?

I know Facebook says use your own name but you can be anyone on Instagram? If they do not approve I am assuming they do not use it themselves and monitor you?

What do your parents say ? You are a minor. I am right to assume they share the school's view. Why not change schools ?
