Hi, can someone advise me. I've had a letter come to my address in the name of my son who used to live here. It says they provide professional services to a number of large organisations and includes verifying the address of customers they've lost contact with but still need to speak to about a customer account. The it says 'one of our clients have instructed us to cerifyin your current address. We are writing to confirm if the above address we hold is the correct address for you.'.

My son last lived with me about four years ago but still has this as his address with some companies as he moved in and out of friends houses for a while. He is sure he doesn't owe anything. I know he has got some debts which he is paying.

Do I reply saying he doesn't live here? They have a reference number too.
