Engine light

Hi I am looking for some advice on my Peugeot 208 1.6 Bluehdi Active I have recently just paid over £1000 as the engine light and emissions light came on. I had an Ad Blue filter replaced which I have been told is a common issue with the Peugeot. I have my car back few weeks and the same lights have come back on. Any idea why this is?

Try a motoring forum - At a guess the Peugeot one would be a good place to start.

is it the diesel particulate filter? I have similar issues with a Toyota and it is common. I got the filter cleaned etc, light went off and it got through the MOT and then lo and behold returned a while later....

Go for a brisk drive on a motorway for half an hour

Tried that and unfortunately no luck!

I had similar with a Peugeot and after a lot of visits to get it sorted they involved Peugeot's Technical Team and returned it a week later fixed. Turned out they immobilised the Ad Blu function and so never had to put any more in.
