  • Marking CCJ as Satisfied

I was awarded indemnity costs against the debtor about 5 years ago. He has been paying me monthly but now redundant. He has offered a small sum as Full and Final settlement. Can I write to the court as the creditor and ask them to cancel the CCJ or mark it as satisfied? What should I say to them?

That is for him to do - there is a small cost consideration. Alternatively if it is close to 6 years then it would just drop off his credit file anyway.
