  • Re written evidence of an expert, Directions Questionnaire, Small Claims Track

    On the Directions Questionnaire, Small Claims Track form it asks in section D2 if I want permission for use of written evidence, and if YES, state why and name of expert if known.
    Also, in D3 it asks for number of witnesses to give evidence.

    My questions are these:

    1- Is the expert named in D2 for written evidence expected to be one of the witnesses included in D3? Or, is it allowed for written evidence of an expert to be presented without the expert being present as one of the witnesses?

    2- Can more than one expert witness be named in D2 on this form? I ask this because the Directions Questionnaire uses "expert" not "experts".

    Any light on this would be appreciated. Neither the county courts or the Money Claim business centre have the capacity to answer me. Thank you.
