    I recently bought a car from a private seller
    it was advertised as having an mot later to
    find out it had no mot for 5 years where do I stand on getting full refund please advise

      For a refund you'll have to ask nicely to begin with, but if that doesn't work you could initiate a court claim for misrepresentation.
