  • reconstituted CCA

Hi, I've been on a DMP with Stepchange for nearly 8 years, decided a few months back to request CCA's from the DCA's involved. One debt is with Idem, a Lloyds CC. I requested the CCA in May, they repled in June confirming they were unable to comply with the request and had requested a copy from the original lender, Lloyds. I heard nothing so I wrote to them in September informing them that I was instructing Stepchange to stop payments,I (also offered a 5% settlement of £150) as the debt was UE until they could produce the CCA. I received a letter today saying they had investigated my complaint fully (it wasn't a complaint, but I know that's what they class it as) and that they had now received a response from LBG with a reconstituted copy of the agreement and that the account was now enforceable. They also declined the £150 settlement, but did offer a settlement figure of around 80% of the debt, giving me 30 days to accept. The reconstituted agreement is 17 pages long, how can I find out if it's enough to make it enforceable? THE original cc is over 10 years old, it defaulted and has already fell off my file. I would be grateful for any advice, can anybody help?
