My friend is abused, but his father and I don't know how I can help him as he's underaged.

It depends on the type of abuse.

If your friend is in imminent danger please dial 999 and ask for the police.

If there is no current risk you can report it to the police on 101, or you can contact Childline, the NSPCC, your local council's Social Care Team or his/her school's Student Welfare Officer as necessary - just use Google for their contact details.

I agree with A.W . In my time in education I had to contact police 're possible abuse. They responded quickly and sensitively, the others were the same.
